Florida Rail Enterprise
The Florida Rail Enterprise, established on December 16, 2009, as part of House Bill 1B, is the agency responsible for planning, constructing, maintaining, operating and promoting Florida’s high-speed rail system. The Enterprise also will acquire corridors, coordinate development and operation of publicly funded passenger rail systems and contract with other entities.
The Florida Rail Enterprise, under the authority of the FDOT and Florida Transportation Secretary Stephanie Kopelousos, is managed by Interim-Executive Director Kevin Thibault and Chief Operating Officer Nazih Haddad. The Enterprise is based in Tallahassee, Florida at:
